Veneers work by bonding a thin layer of porcelain to the front side of your teeth. Before placement, the teeth are carefully prepared by rounding off sharp edges and creating space for the porcelain—without this step, veneers can look bulky and unnatural in the mouth.

Veneers are completed in two appointments: during the first visit, the teeth are prepared and an impression is taken and sent to the lab, where the veneers are custom made. At the second appointment, you’ll have a chance to see the veneers in your mouth and give your approval before they are permanently bonded to your teeth.
